Greek Islands
Over this next week things may be a bit quiet with my posts as I will be going away. I feel
so happy and blessed because I am on my way to a very beautiful part of the world – the Greek Islands!
I will be travelling on a boat with my family from New Zealand (yay!) from Athens on the mainland to Islands such as Mykonos, Rhodes and Santorini.
What caught me most about this cruise was the opportunity to travel to parts that are really significant Biblically like the Island of Patmos where John was given the Revelation of Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:1), which we now read as the book of Revelation at the end of the Bible.
Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, and they also who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:7-8)
Jesus is so cool. I love Him. I look forward to that day. The other amazing thing is that we will also be travelling to Turkey to go to Ephesus. The apostle Paul wrote a letter to the believers in Ephesus while he was in prison in Rome around 60AD. This letter is now what we read as the book of Ephesians. I love Ephesians and the way it shows us how we can view ourselves in a whole new way, people with a whole new identity in Christ (Ephesians 2).
So it’s going to be so fun. I really look forward to writing some posts soon about the different experiences we have along the way. Bless you.

Have an absolutely awesome time Birgit. We were in Naxos a few years ago and LOVED it…lol Annie
What a wonderful blessing to combine history, spirituality, beauty, relaxation and pleasure, not to mention the food, in the one holiday! Can’t wait to read your blog.
