Loved By God
I love this verse in the Bible that says – “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge …” Ephesians 3:17-19.
In this excerpt of teaching by Paul Washer, he talks about this love that God has for us – unconditional, immeasurable and eternal love.
One quote that I like from this teaching is:
“ …. I realised I did not have to move a quarter of an inch to the left or the right to be loved of God. That I did not have to be successful in the world’s eyes, nor powerful, nor eloquent, nor intelligent, nor any other thing; that I simply was loved.”
At first, I wanted to post a comment in your latest angels post about how I was going to put you in my blogroll and monitor your blog to see what you have about angels, but that post is not open to comments right now.
Then I clicked on the go button of the YouTube video by Paul Washer, and I came away with something much better. God loves me, and I didn’t have to do diddly squat for that love.
