Seeing Heaven

Over a year ago, I posted this story. It will probably be new for some of you who visit here. It really is extraordinary, and I felt to post it again (and the second part tomorrow) all this time later …

This week at work I heard about something extraordinary, and really wonderful. I spoke on the phone to a mother of seven beautiful daughters. Her two youngest, Sophie and Caprice, were suffering from terrible nightmares and so she decided to take them for prayer ministry at church. Whilst praying for the girls, one of intercessors specifically asked God for dreams and visions that would come from Him, and also, interestingly, for visits to heaven. The next morning, little Caprice, who is eight, was cuddling with her mum. After some time she said, “Mum, last night two angels came, and Jesus was behind them, and they took me to heaven.” She went on to give a very detailed account of what she saw. Soon after, Sophie, who is ten, and sleeps in another room, came down and she too had had a vision of heaven. Like her sister, Sophie was able to give very specific descriptions of her experience. These visions of heaven recurred over the next few nights for both girls. They each wrote an account of what they experienced and with their mother’s kind permission, I will post these, exactly as they have been written, today and tomorrow. Bear in mind that these are small children who have not been taught about the book of Revelation, and the details about heaven that this book provides. I hope the visions of these girls bless and encourage you as much as they did me. By Caprice, aged 8:

On wednesday night I went to sleep and two Angels came and got me and Jesus was behind them they took me to heaven and I saw gold gate and on top of the gate there Was a cross and one angel was beside the gate and a another angel was beside The gate they was so bright I couldn’t see there faces they was so big they had wings there wings was so big the cross said this belongs to Jesus angels came and got me for 4 nights evil could not come near heaven because Jesus put his hand up and the evil went back I asked Jesus could I keep coming to heaven Jesus said only for a few days and he said to me even though you have to go back to earth evil cannot come near you or your family because I am with you. and I  held Jesus hand heaven was lovely the beautiful angels were singing and they have sweet sweet  voices they had crowns on their head not all the angels the one I saw had wings I saw a lovely river it was very clear I saw Jesus praying for my and other people their was bright light every where I saw trees big and lovely trees with fruit near the river I saw angels dancing I also saw Jesus but I can’t remember what he looked like I heard sweet music the angels crowns were bright. the river had a name but I don’t remember what the river is called, heaven is a very happy place Jesus is lovely and sweet and beautiful and kind and nice and the angel said it’s time to go back little girl and I said I don’t know how to get back and the angel said close your eyes and then  I was back in my bed room .

This is amazing, read this excerpt from Revelation 21 and 22 and see how it lines up with what Caprice saw – the gate, the way evil could not enter, the “very clear” river, the trees with fruit “near the river,” the “bright light everywhere” … “Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there) … But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. And [the angel] showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month …” (21:25; 21:27-22:2); “… the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever. Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place. [Jesus] “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book” (22:3-7). Sophie’s account of heaven will be posted tomorrow.

  7. Thank you for reminding us about this one. The book Joel is very much on my mind lately, and I pray that all of us who have an expectation of the day that Jesus comes to save us, will be ready on that day. God does restore, just as He, in his lovingkindness, restored Zion after the locusts distroyed everything. In overflow!

  8. Thanks so much to each of you for your replies about Caprice’s vision of heaven.

It was such a good reminder what some of you mentioned here about having an expectation of heaven and of Christ’s return and seeing His face :) . It made me think of that parable about the ten wise and foolish virgins, where Jesus says at the end, “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming” (Matt.25:13).
