Situations like this come up all the time I find, and it reminds me of that verse in 1 Peter, about the enemy being a roaring lion, going around, seeking someone to devour, and Peter saying to be really self controlled and watchful (5:8-9) – so hard oftentimes! I was so inspired by what you said about persevering through it and staying faithful to God, that is so great!

No spring where you are for a while then? Well, apart from the slushy stuff, I hope you get to enjoy the beautiful snow :) Bless you friend xo

Love you too, Michelle, you really are an inspiration. Even though I don’t know the circumstances you’re facing, I know the feelings you describe here well. There’s that verse that says He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear (1 Cor.10:13) but sometimes the situation can press in so hard, I find. I admire your commitment and focus, and may God really strengthen you and give you His peace, and His joy too xo.

Today the other shoe dropped and I found myself surrounded by temptation. Holy Spirit bit my tongue for me but my belly churned all day. Okay, Lord. I’ll persevere and remain faithful.
Daffodils?? My city brags of having the longest skating rink in the world. It hasn’t even begun to melt yet so we won’t be seeing daffodils for a long while yet. :)
