The Market

I had fun this morning putting together some photos I took at the Borough Market in London. I love these markets, just wandering through and seeing all of the amazing variety of foods. Here are a few that I really like, I love the different colours and textures – the dark red of the chillies, the purple artichokes and green barley grass. I’ve posted the picture of the chocolate brownies here sometime before. There was a whole tower of these thick wedges of brownie, and they tasted amazing! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the pictures J.

I miss the outdoor market. We have one downtown (Dallas), but the drive in traffic makes it so not worth the effort.

On another note, I tried to use Smilebox the other day for a slideshow of my garden blooms…not so successful. I need to spend some time figuring it all out. I love the music choices they give. The one I ended up using had no music I even knew. Of course, that could speak more to my lack of current culture… :???: (That was a pathetic attempt to get you to come see my pics. :oops: )

Hi Birgit, The photos of the food at the market are great. You certainly have an artistic eye with the camera. The food looks delicious. I think I tried juiced barley grass once, it is supposed to be very healthy. Lots of love and blessings.
