Hope, I was so looking forward to hearing your thoughts, your country truly is so wonderful!! I am so happy that you feel this reflected the heart of Canada, and the same thought was in my heart too - God's glory and His breathtaking creativity is so fully on display in this beautiful place!! With love and blessings my friend xo

Hi Rain, isn't it so lovely there? I know what you mean about the snow too - it brings such serenity with it, I find. I noticed it quite literally as we walked in the some of the places in the photos - the stillness and silence and peacefulness. I just loved it! :) Weren't the ice sculptures beautiful? I was amazed at the skill!! I hope you're well, love and blessings xo

Hi Susanne, yeah, the mountains were really magnificent! I can imagine how you would have wonderful memories of them from Europe. I'm not sure if you spent a lot of time in Austria or Switzerland, but those are places I was really reminded of - especially the sense of being surrounded and dwarfed by them. These settings are very beautiful! I hope you and Timi and Erion are all well. Lots of love ox

Hi Roxx! So lovely to see you, and I'm so glad you got to see these pictures! Vancouver is not too far from you are is it? I remember you saying you were based in Washington state? Yes, Banff is wonderful!! I know that you and your family are into snowboarding (thanks for the card ;)) and so you would love the mountains here, I'm sure :) Do stop by again, lots of blessings xo

Hi Michelle :) I've heard how really beautiful the scenery is in Colorado, that's so wonderful that you and your family have experienced it first-hand, I'd love to go one day God-willing. The Rockies truly are so mind-blowingly beautiful aren't they? And I know what you mean about being so inspired by God and the beauty He creates, within this fallen world. I am so strongly reminded of Him by His creation, especially in such dramatic scenery. If He creates such splendour, such awesome-ness, scenes that are so inspiring, how unbelievably magnificent must He be? What a privelege to be His. Lots of love xo

Hi @ngie, Thanks so much for letting me know your favourites - wasn't that chocolate sensational? A whole shovel of it!! Michael and I did buy some wedges of it too, and it tasted as good as it looked, but also very rich :)
I thought of you a few times while we were over there, as you are my friends who really love mountains!! Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado must have been such an amazing experience for you.
I hope you and DaRonn and all your family enjoyed your recent vacation too ;)
Lots of blessings to you.

Hi Carin, Wow, what a beautiful country you come from, and Vancouver is such a wonderful city!! It really is so lovely, with the mountains, and the harbour, and the city (full of great cafes!)! My cousin lives in North Vancouver, so we took the Sea Bus each day and so enjoyed the beauty and atmosphere over there too :)
Thanks so much for stopping by, it's really nice to 'meet' you after seeing you over at @ngie's blog, and I look forward to visiting your blog too. God bless :)

Birgit, sounds and looks like you had a most wonderful trip! So glad for you both. :)

Favorites: the chocolatier, the ice-sculptures, and the Vancouver skyline from the sea.

Lovey post, dear. I know what you mean about not being able to capture the emotion of the mountains. I felt that way in Colorado at Rocky Mountain National PArk last year.

Wow, Birgit! Beautiful. So many of the shots reminded me of the Rockies in Colorado. Amazing doesn't even come close to expressing the beauty. One year we drove from Colorado to Wyoming to see the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone Park. Gracious...spectacular sites. It just blows my mind to realize this is a fallen world, you know? What must heaven be like???

Thank you for sharing "The Life of Birgit" with us!

Glad you're safely home and back to blogging! :D
